Hair Cut

Here is a recent pic of our boys.... We are really happy in our new home and didn't realize how bad the other house was effecting us. Ugh....not fun! Things are going well now and it feels like our life is now moving forward instead of just being stuck in a rut. The boys are in a new school which they really like. Caleb is the only foreigner in his class, so we are hoping he picks up a lot of Arabic, and Judah is one of 2 foreigners in his class. His teacher today said he is a great student and is learning his days of the week in Arabic and English. So cool....And lately Mason has been impressing everyone at our new language school with his sign language. When trying to teach him sign language to say "Thank you" instead of putting his hand on his chin, which is the correct way, he would put his hand on his head. There is a saying in Arabic which is "Ala Rasee" and it means "on my head", it is used when you are saying that you are responsible for something, or you will take responsibility for something. So Mike turned Mason's thank you into "Ala Rasee" which is very cute and impresses everyone. It has been funny too, while we are in our tutoring session, which we bring Mason to, we are telling stories and in one of the pictures there is a boy that gets stuck on the top of a deer's head, so when either Mike or I will say "on his head" in Arabic Mason will pat on his head. It is very cute!

Judah recently got ahold of the clippers and came out of the bathroom so proud of himself. This is the result....

So Much!

Wow, it has been a month since I have posted anything on here and SO much has happened in our lives. I won't go into all the detail, but just give you a brief synopsis on what has been going on and try and get some pics up here in the next few days.....

I rented a car (wow, so much to say about that....will post more later)
Found a new apartment to move to...
Painted our new place...
Moved to our new place...
Found out we are having a girl....
Mason started walking....
Getting settled...
Sewing curtains and cushion covers....
and on and on.....

The day after we moved out of our old place we went back to clean up and give the landlord the key, and were in shock to what we walked into. The place was disgusting. So much mold and moisture and it just smelled damp and musty. I think our furniture must have been absorbing a
lot of the moisture, so without our furniture in there is was so gross. For those of you who hadn't heard our previous place was full of mold and moisture and all the paint was literally
falling off the walls, so we left after only being in there for 5 months. The landlord came to get
the keys and didn't say a word. There was not much he could say since the place was empty, be he saw how disgusting it was. So we will see if they try and make us pay for the full year or rent. Hopefully they just drop it, and we are free!

This picture is sideways, but it is the back of one of our wardrobes, that got moldy from being against the wall. Ugh....

ALL the walls in our whole place were like this or worse. It was so weird. We didn't have this many problems with a place in India in the midst of monsoon season.
